3. Client Responsibilities

- Review deliverables promptly and communicate revision requests clearly
- Make payments according to the agreed schedule
Delays caused by late client feedback or missing materials may affect project timelines and are not the responsibility of Readsy Author Services.
4. Intellectual Property
Client Content
You retain ownership of your original manuscript and ideas. By submitting content to us, you grant Readsy Author Services a limited license to use that content solely for the purpose of delivering the agreed Services.
Deliverables
Upon full payment, ownership of final deliverables (such as formatted files, cover designs, or completed manuscripts as specified in your agreement) transfers to you, unless otherwise stated in writing. We may retain copies for our records and portfolio only with your permission.
Our Materials
Website content, branding, templates, and proprietary processes remain the property of Readsy Author Services and may not be copied or reused without written consent.
5. Payments & Refunds
Project fees, deposits, and payment milestones are outlined in your proposal or invoice. Unless otherwise agreed:
- Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced
- Remaining balances are due before final files are released
- Refund requests for completed work are evaluated on a case-by-case basis
We reserve the right to pause or terminate Services for overdue payments.
6. Revisions & Approval
Each service package includes a defined number of revision rounds as stated in your agreement. Additional revisions may incur extra fees. Final approval from the client is required before we consider a project complete.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our Services are provided on a professional best-effort basis. While we strive for excellence, we do not guarantee specific sales results, bestseller status, publishing acceptance by third-party platforms, or commercial success of any book or project.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Readsy Author Services shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or Services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific project giving rise to the claim.
9. Confidentiality
We treat client manuscripts and project details as confidential. We will not disclose your materials to third parties except as needed to deliver Services or as required by law.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate a project in accordance with the written agreement. Upon termination, you are responsible for payment of all work completed up to the termination date. We may suspend access to our website or Services if these Terms are violated.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Readsy Author Services operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
